  20. The story behind this template............

  22. •For years I have been taking photo's and for years I have been lazy about putting them into some sort of album!  The pile of photo's, clippings, and other memorabilia just kept getting bigger and bigger.  To add to that overwhelming project, I had now collected even more photo's on my computer's hard drive, using my nifty little Connectix Quick Cam!  What to do, what to do? (I'm sure you can see where this is headed.)  With the addition of a color scanner to my office, I had no excuse to procrastinate any longer. I developed this template not only for photo's, sounds, and movies, but also to hold scanned images of birth certificates, family heirloom letters, ticket stubs (from memorable events) etc.....

  24. •Requires Claris FileMaker Pro and Macintosh with 8 bit color. 68030 or better is recommended.

  26. •There are many ways you can import photo's into this album.  Suggestions:  Have your negatives digitized onto CD ROM, use a scanner, use a digital camera, or if you have an AV Mac, import them directly from your video camera as still shots (or Movies.)  QuickTime movies and pictures can be created using the Quick Cam for non-AV Mac's.  To record your voice, you must have a microphone.

  28. •Easy to use palette guides you through the step by step process of importing photo's, scanned images, Quick Time Movies, Sounds and your own Journal entries to make each page complete.  Spell check your entire document as you go.
